The Martha Maher-Garcia Memorial Scholarship at Monroe Community College (MCC)
Award $1,000.00
Established in 2016 to honor the memory of Martha Maher-Garcia, former Director of Human Resources at MCC and champion of educational opportunities for Rochester women. The Martha Maher-Garcia Memorial Scholarship is intended to support deserving MCC students who are overcoming unique personal and financial challenges as they pursue their career and educational goals.
ELIGIBILITY
1. Full or part-time students.
2. Minimum MCC GPA of 3.0.
3. Preference given to students who have overcome obstacles such as socioeconomic or educational disadvantage, are employed part-time or full-time while enrolled at MCC, are women, and/or single parent head of household.
